Libery on the Lake
Located in Irmo, Liberty on the Lake offers stunning views of the lake, a lively atmosphere, and a menu packed with Southern-inspired seafood and American classics. You can dock your boat right outside and enjoy everything from crab cakes to burgers and craft cocktails. Their sunset views are some of the best on the lake!
My Favorite Menu Items Are: The Chicken Taproom Nachos, Filet Mignon, And Any Of Their Pizzas!
Buck’s Pizza
A hidden gem, Buck’s Pizza in Leesville offers something a little different. While it may not sit directly on the water like some of the others, it’s still accessible by boat via a short walk from the dock at nearby South Shore Marina. It’s worth the extra effort — the pizza is hot, cheesy, and perfect after a long day on the water.
My Favorite Menu Items Are: The Fried Fresh Mozzarella, The Old World Pizza, And The Bacon Cheeseburger – YUM!
The Rusty ANchor
The Rusty Anchor is a Lake Murray staple, known for its fresh seafood, live music Thursday – Sundays, and welcoming vibe. It’s part of the larger Lighthouse Marina complex, which also includes the more casual Quarterdeck for drinks and snacks. Boaters will love the ample docking space and the festive weekend atmosphere.

Catfish Johnny’s
If you’re looking for a laid-back, rustic lakeside dining experience or to grab some cocktails, Catfish Johnny’s is your go-to. Located with Rusty Anchor, it’s a favorite among locals for its fried catfish, hush puppies, and frozen drinks. Boaters can pull right up and enjoy the easygoing, welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer.
My Absolute Favorite Thing To Order at Catfish Johnny’s is the Chicken Nachos and a Frozen Cocktail! I Love Getting a Miami Vice or Pina Colada After a Great Day Out in the Sun!
