CALLIE IS MY GRAND-DOG, BUT SHE COMES WITH A VERY SPECIAL STORY.
]In 2022, my daughter, Jordan, was visiting her future mother-in law with her fiance in Calabash, North Carolina. While they were there, a dog wandered up to them. She was in very rough shape with swollen shut eyes. emancipated, and was having a hard time even sitting down. They immediately brought her inside and took her to the emergency vet. After getting her all fixed up and making sure she wasn’t someone’s dog, they decided to keep her and take her home! Since they found her in Calabash, they decided to name her Callie.
WHAT MAKES THIS STORY SO SPECIAL:
What makes this story so special is when Jordan was a a little girl, my husband’s mother who we call “mema”, used to tell Jordan when she got married, she would get Jordan a dog as a wedding present. Sadly, mema passed away in 2016, shortly after Jordan graduated high school. BUT, Jordan found Callie on her mema’s birthday, two months after getting engaged. We believe her mema sent her Callie from up above to make sure she got her wedding present.
Fast forward to today and Callie is living her best life! She LOVES to go for rides on the boat or in the car! She loves to snuggle and sun bathe. But her favorite thing to do is eat! Callie now has a dog sister, Gracie, and they love each other!

This is my nail salon! I see them every three weeks and the owners have truly become dear friends of mine! Tim, Yen, and Angie do a great job on my nails every week. My go to color combination is one coat of funny bunny and two coats of bubble bath! It is the perfect pink neutral color. If you are in need of a new nail salon – check them out! They are the best!
