For Tami Michelle Floyd, real estate is far more than contracts and closings—it’s about creating
a beautiful beginning for every client she serves. A former interior decorator with a strong corporate background, Tami transitioned into real estate in 2021 and has quickly built a reputation across the Midlands of South Carolina as a client-focused, design savvy agent who treats every transaction as a personal mission.

“My dad was a builder, and I’ve built six homes with my husband, so I’ve always loved everything about homes and how they come together,” she shares. Her journey began long before her license, as she honed her skills in customer service, design, and executive administration. Her experience as an executive assistant to multiple vice presidents and her time at UPS taught her professionalism, organization, and grace under pressure—skills she brings to every client relationship today.

Tami has surpassed $50 million in career sales volume, including over $17.9 million in closed
transactions last year. She serves buyers and sellers throughout Lexington, Lake Murray, Chapin, Columbia, Blythewood, Leesville, and surrounding areas. In 2024, Tami was honored to receive an award for #1 out of all Exit Realty Corporation offices in SC last year.

Tami’s love for real estate is as personal as it is professional
One particularly touching memory reminds her she’s exactly where she’s meant to be. “During the 2021 market frenzy, I was helping my cousin find a home. We had faced so many rejections. But after our 5th offer, we finally won
the house she wanted. Weeks later, she called to say, ‘You won’t believe this— your dad built this house.’ His signature was on the deed.” It was an emotional moment and a powerful affirmation that Tami had chosen the right path, she felt her Dad’s presence in that moment.
Her design background plays a major role in her client service
“I help my buyers visualize a space. If the wall colors or flooring aren’t ideal, I guide them on how to transform it. I’m decorating in my head as we walk through,” she laughs. Her specialty ranges from firsttime buyers to luxury Lake Murray listings, retirees, and new construction homes. “I love the marketing side of listings,” she adds. “It allows me to blend creativity with strategy.”
Tami’s passion for serving others shines through every aspect of her business—and
it’s a family affair
Her husband Jeff, a full- time dental supply sales rep, obtained his real estate license to help her during busy
seasons. Her daughter Jordan Reaves, married to Mark and a proud dog mom to Callie and Gracie, is Tami’s full-time real estate assistant, handling marketing, transactions, and even videography. Her youngest daughter Peyton, a senior at USC majoring in marketing,
occasionally pitches in as well.

you becomes your trademark.”
Tami believes real estate is a calling
“I truly feel God places people in front of me that I’m meant to serve,” she says. “And when clients refer me to others, or come back to work with me again, it’s the biggest compliment could receive.”
tami supports organizations close to her heart
including St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the CARE Network, and Sole Stepping—a nonprofit that provides shoes to children in need. “Seeing a
child in need light up with a new pair of new shoes is a gift,” she says. When she’s not working, Tami enjoys reading, baking, decorating, and curling up beside Jeff and their beloved Bernedoodle, Lyla. She also loves lake time on Lake Murray, exploring local boutiques, book clubs, and hosting
family dinners and game nights.
Her definition of success?
“It’s finding balance—between work and personal time. It’s about serving others with excellence, staying passionate, being consistent, and still making time to enjoy life.”
As for the future, Tami is already living one of her dreams
She recently collaborated with a custom builder to design a spec home from
the ground up. And as her business continues to flourish, she hopes to expand into real
estate investment, possibly flipping homes or launching an Airbnb venture
